Dark cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry aromas are complimented by cassis, tea leaf, dried rosemary and dried spices. Interwoven savoury and fruit flavours are dominated by succulent berry fruit.
Auntsfield is Marlborough’s first vineyard and winery established in 1873. David Herd, Auntsfield’s original owner, was the founder of the Marlborough wine industry. Auntsfield is family owned and run by brothers Luc and Ben Cowley, in the key roles of Winemaker and Viticulturist. Their vision is to produce wine of uncompromised quality from grapes grown at their family vineyard. The resulting wines are distinctive and reflect the passion and dedication that exists within the family members who work the land and make the wine.
