Auntsfield is Marlborough’s first vineyard and winery established in 1873. David Herd, Auntsfield’s original owner, was the founder of the Marlborough wine industry. Auntsfield is family owned and run by brothers Luc and Ben Cowley, in the key roles of Winemaker and Viticulturist. Their vision is to produce wine of uncompromised quality from grapes grown at their family vineyard. The resulting wines are distinctive and reflect the passion and dedication that exists within the family members who work the land and make the wine. Inspiration from Auntsfield’s history, as Marlborough’s first Commercial Vineyard and Winery, is reflected in the artisan style of winemaking where new and old world techniques are used to produce wines that connect with the land, the people, and the Heritage of Marlborough.

Auntsfield Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2012 has been voted as the No. 1 New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc by Cuisine magazine.
